Valdez Cargo Express provides logistics services, including but not limited to transportation, warehousing, and distribution. The scope and specifics of the services will be detailed in individual service agreements.
Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information regarding shipment details, including descriptions, weights, dimensions, and any special handling requirements.
Compliance: Clients must ensure that all shipments comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including proper packaging and labeling.
Rates: All rates are subject to the specific terms of the service agreement and may vary based on factors such as distance, weight, and service type.
Payment Terms: Payment is due within 3 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified in the service agreement. Late payments may incur additional fees.
Limitation of Liability: Valdez Cargo Express is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability for direct damages is limited to the lesser of the shipment's declared value or $5 per shipment.
Insurance: Clients are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage for their shipments. Valdez Cargo Express offers optional insurance upon request.
Filing a Claim: Any claims for loss, damage, or delay must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the delivery date. Claims must include all relevant documentation and evidence.
Investigation: Valdez Cargo Express will investigate claims promptly and communicate the findings. Compensation, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with the service agreement and applicable laws.
Cancellation: Clients may cancel or modify service requests in accordance with the specific terms outlined in the service agreement. Fees may apply for late cancellations or changes.
Changes: Valdez Cargo Express reserves the right to modify or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, strikes, or regulatory changes.
Data Protection: Valdez Cargo Express is committed to protecting client information and will handle all data in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
Non-Disclosure: Both parties agree to keep all non-public information confidential and not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent, except as required by law.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The United States of America. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The United States of America.
Valdez Cargo Express reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
